The Uttar Pradesh government established Bareilly International University in accordance with the UGC Act of 1956. Act No. 26 of 2016, dated September 16, 2016 Beginning with the 2016–17 academic year, the university has begun offering a variety of courses.

Bareilly International University PhD Admission Eligibility Criteria

If a candidate has a post-graduate degree in the subject at issue from a reputable university and has earned at least 55% of the overall grade point average (or 50% for SC/ST/PH candidates), they are eligible for admission to the Ph.D. program.

Candidates with valid scores on the UGC-NET (including JRF), UGC-CSIR, SLET, and GATE, as well as those with valid scores on the GPAT and M.Phil., will receive priority. Only the results of their personal interview and the examination mentioned above will be used to create their merit list. They will need to submit an application for admission to the Ph.D. program in the prescribed format, pay the required fee, and show up for a personal interview with the Departmental Research Committee.
