Glocal University About Research Department 2025-26

PHD. Admission into The Glocal University, Mirzapur Pole, Saharanpur (UP) programs is conducted twice a year for January and July sessions. A Ph.D. The program is offered in two modes – full-time and part-time and not in distance learning mode. Hence, course work, participation in national and international conferences/patents/workshops/seminars, UGC/MHRD/ and recognized one week FDP, submission of 6 monthly progress reports through presentations etc. Regular admission is mandatory during the program at RDC. PHD. Scholar means a Research Scholar who is devoting his/her time to fulfill the requirements of the Program and discharge his/her official/employment responsibilities. Main guide for scholar during PhD. The program will be conducted after the first RDC from the appointed Glocal University as per the availability of research topic and guide. As a result, it allows scholars to appoint co-mentors from outside the glocal university as per university regulations. The maximum duration program for PhD is 5 years.

Glocal University PhD Admission Procedure & Guideline

1. Application for admission to Ph.D. Programs at The Glocal University are accepted twice a year for the January and July sessions.
2. Candidates seeking admission to Ph.D. program, whether full-time or part-time, each Ph.D. Must have the requisite percentage of marks/grade point average/subject/specialization in the qualifying examination as mentioned under. Program.
3. Candidates who apply for Ph.D. Part-time, at the time of joining after their selection in the programme, have to submit their employment verification details and NOC as per the format at the time of filling the form.
4. The admission form has to be filled and submitted along with the required documents uploaded in the given format and payment of Rs. Rs.2000/- made through credit/debit card/cash/online payment.
5. To check/do the following related to your admission, logon to your admission site https://www.glocaluniversity.edu.in.
6. Candidates will be informed about the requirements relating to their application form, date, time and venue of the selection process (written examination and/or interview). It is the responsibility of the candidate to check the university website from time to time for updates and select a date. No separate information will be sent in this regard.
7. Eligible candidates should have Ph.D. Will need to do. Entrance Examination, on the date fixed by the University. The entrance examination will be conducted in University campus/online mode followed by interview.
8. Selected candidates will be informed about their selection on the University website.
9. The offer of admission will be provisional and valid only for the specific program chosen by the candidate as well as for the same academic session. If the conditions are not fulfilled within the stipulated time, the admission offer will be automatically cancelled.
10. Candidates who qualify the entrance examination must register for the PhD program within one year of the declaration of the entrance examination result.
