Dr. Hima Sekhar was born on 26-7-1957 to K.Ramunaidu & Sannammadu. He secured State First Rank in Intermediate Examinations, conducted by Board of Intermediate Education, Hyderabad, during the year 1971-73. He passed B.E, with distinction from A.U. College of Engineering Visakhapatnam, during the year 1973-78 and got Two gold medals, one for securing highest percentage of marks in his branch of study (Mech.) and another for securing highest percentage of marks in all disciplines put together.
