Desh Bhagat University Act, 2012 of the Punjab Government established Desh Bhagat University, Gobindgarh. The private university's more than 40-acre campus is situated in the Mandi Gobindgarh neighborhood of Punjab's District Fatehgarh Sahib. Approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the University Grants Commission (UGC), DBU Gobindgarh is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Other national organizations including NCTE, PCI, COA, BCI, and others have also acknowledged the university. Desh Bhagat University Eligibility:

UG Course-

Applicants must have passed a 10+2 passed or equivalent with a minimum of 45% (40% for reserved categories) for all type of UG courses, but for B.Sc. in Ag, a minimum of 50% (45% for reserved items) is required in grade 12.

PG Course-

Applicants who already hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or suitable combination with a minimum score of 45% (40% for reserved categories) are eligible for this.

Doctorate Course-

An applicant holding a Master's degree (PG) in a relevant/relevant subject with at least 55% of marks is eligible to apply for both a Master of Philosophy and a Ph.D.

PG Diploma-

Students must graduate with a 50% of mark or any other related course from an accredited board or university. Admission to PG diploma courses is also based on an entrance test, which is also part of the admission requirements at some universities.

Diploma Course-

10th from an accredited board with a minimum of 45% of marks (40% for reserved categories) is required for eligibility for Polytechnic and D.Pharma degrees.

Certificate Course-

For Certificate courses students must have a graduate degree from an accredited university in any stream. Students for UG certificate programs must have completed their 12th grade with at least a 55% of average marks from a respected board.

Desh Bhagat University Admission Process:

UG Course-

Fill out the CET online application form and show up for the entrance test. Based on the results of the CET entrance exam, a final selection is made.

PG Course-

Candidates are chosen based on their prior academic achievements and admission exam results administered by Desh Bhagat University. For admission to several PG degrees, University conducts its own entrance exam, known as CET.

Doctorate Course-

For admission to its program, Desh Bhagat University holds its own Ph. D. examination. Candidates who have successfully completed the Desh Bhagat University Ph.D. are exempt from the CSIR NET, UGC NET, GATE, GPAT, or SLET exams.

PG Diploma-

Admission to PG Diploma programs is also based on an entrance exam; some colleges require it as a requirement for enrollment BSc, BA, BCA, BBA, BSW, and so forth.

Diploma Course-

Desh Bhagat University Polytechnic Entrance Examination is the basis for admissions to polytechnic programs in Desh Bhagat University. The admittance to the courses is based on the test's results.

Certificate Course-

First-come, first-served admissions are often made following receipt of a fully submitted application.

In order to be considered for admission to any of the offered programs, applicants must first register, fill out an application, and submit it via Desh Bhagat University's official website. They must also submit soft copies of their supporting documentation and the application cost. The university will announce the final merit list of admitted students based on the performance of the entrance exam, qualification exam, and/or both.
