GNA University Research

The GNA University Research and Development Cell, GU-RDC (formerly known as Research Division) has been established in the year 2016 to oversee the PhD program and research in the Institute. To promote excellence in education, research is promoted at GNA University with a clear vision to bring quality to the research and provide solutions to the problems present in the society. The university allocates a budget for various research activities for investment and research expenditure in each session.

Functions of GU-RDC

GNA University Research and development cell takes care of the following:

·         University has its own Consultancy Policy and Research Policy. Research Advisory Committee has been established in the year 2016 with well-defined role of its members in the PhD Regulations.

·         Promotes research at university by providing seed money to faculty for research projects since 2020.

·         Signs MoUs and conduct various activities in collaboration to industries, academic and research institutions.

·         Encouraging research oriented faculty members to submit research proposals to national agencies.

·         Etablished GU-Technology Business Incubator (GU-TBI) and IPR cell that deals with university-industry linkage and innovation and Entrepreneurship Development

·         University faculty effectively uses Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and have well defined consultancy policy to provide industrial consultancy.

·         Research Students and research oriented faculty are allowed to use research institutions and laboratories for research purpose

GNA University Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics (Ph.D in Mathematics) Admission Highlights

GNA University offers a three-year Ph.D. program in Mathematics. The Ph.D. program in Mathematics at GNA University is open to applicants who have completed postgraduate coursework in a relevant field.

Candidates must have earned a Master's or M.Phil. In order to be admitted to the Ph.D. program in Mathematics from a reputable school in the relevant field.

GNA University Ph.D in Mathematics Admission Process

Entrance Qualified in NET/SLET/GATE/RAT/JRF/SRF/examination of the apex bodies as CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR and or DST INSPIRE fellowship/ICCR or any equivalent test or exam will be waived for candidates.

Note that applicants who are eligible to skip the entrance exam must submit the Application Form and any necessary supporting documents within the allotted time.

GNA University Ph.D in Mathematics Admission Entrance exams

For taking admission in PhD in Mathematics at GNA University applicants must have to go through an entrance Exam.

Papers I and II will feature objective-type questions and will be administered in two phases.

Papers I and II will be worth 100 points each, and each paper will have 60 questions, 50 of which must be answered in 60 minutes.

To be considered "Qualified" to participate in a personal interview, you must receive at least 50% of the grade.

Negative marking will not be used.
