The GNA University Research and Development Cell, GU-RDC (formerly known as Research Division) has been established in the year 2016 to oversee the PhD program and research in the Institute. Candidates must have earned a Master's or M.Phil. In order to be admitted to the Ph.D. program in Tourism from a reputable school in the relevant field.

Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in English.

Candidates from the SC/ST groups receive an exemption of 5% of the required minimum marks for eligibility.

GNA University Ph.D in Tourism Admission Process

Entrance Qualified in NET/SLET/GATE/RAT/JRF/SRF/examination of the apex bodies as CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR and or DST INSPIRE fellowship/ICCR or any equivalent test or exam will be waived for candidates.

For taking admission in PhD in Tourism at GNA University applicants must have to go through an entrance Exam.

Papers I and II will feature objective-type questions and will be administered in two phases.

Papers I and II will be worth 100 points each, and each paper will have 60 questions, 50 of which must be answered in 60 minutes.
