Act of the Punjab
State Legislature in the Indian state of Punjab founded the Guru Kashi
University in Talwandi Sabo (Bathinda). GGS Polytechnic College was the
original name of the university when it was founded in 1998. Later, GGS College
of Education and other colleges were added. And lastly, in 2011, Guru Kashi
University was founded. The university has approval from the Bar Council of
India, MHRD, NCTE, ISTE, and UGC. The Punjabi government, the Pharmacy Council
of India, and the Association of Indian Universities all acknowledge the
university. The IACR has granted GKU, Talwandi Sabo (Bathinda) its
accreditation. The university has agreements in place with Crandal University
in Canada, National Seeds Corporation Limited, KGIC, and ISEG.
Talwandi Sabo, Bathinda, GKU's campus placement, is good. Over eighty acres make up the stunning campus of Guru Kashi University. It has a lot of amenities, including a well-stocked library, a gym, virtual classrooms, and a seminar hall. The university is located in "Shri Damdama Sahib's" verdant, pollution-free hallowed area. In addition, the campus is home to around 7000 students from various regions of India.

GKU has been acknowledged by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Additionally, the university belongs to the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). All agriculture courses have been recognized by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). Furthermore, every teacher education course has been authorized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). All pharmacy courses are recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), and all law courses have been approved and recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI).

UG Course-
Applicants must have passed a 10+2 passed or equivalent with a minimum of 45% (40% for reserved categories) for all type of UG courses, but for B.Sc. in Ag, a minimum of 50% (45% for reserved items) is required in grade 12.
PG Course-
Applicants who already hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or suitable combination with a minimum score of 45% (40% for reserved categories) are eligible for this.
Doctorate Course-
An applicant holding a Master's degree (PG) in a relevant/relevant subject with at least 55% of marks is eligible to apply for both a Master of Philosophy and a Ph.D.
PG Diploma-
Students must graduate with a 50% of mark or any other related course from an accredited board or university. Admission to PG diploma courses is also based on an entrance test, which is also part of the admission requirements at some universities.
Diploma Course-
10th from an accredited board with a minimum of 45% of marks (40% for reserved categories) is required for eligibility for Polytechnic and D.Pharma degrees.
Certificate Course-
For Certificate courses students must have a graduate degree from an accredited university in any stream. Students for UG certificate programs must have completed their 12th grade with at least a 55% of average marks from a respected board.

UG Course-
Fill out the CET online application form and show up for the entrance test. Based on the results of the CET entrance exam, a final selection is made.
PG Course-
Candidates are chosen based on their prior academic achievements and admission exam results administered by Guru Kashi University. For admission to several PG degrees, University conducts its own entrance exam, known as CET.
Doctorate Course-
For admission to its program, Guru Kashi University holds its own Ph. D. examination. Candidates who have successfully completed the Guru Kashi University Ph.D. are exempt from the CSIR NET, UGC NET, GATE, GPAT, or SLET exams.
PG Diploma-
Admission to PG Diploma programs is also based on an entrance exam; some colleges require it as a requirement for enrollment BSc, BA, BCA, BBA, BSW, and so forth.
Diploma Course-
Guru Kashi University Polytechnic Entrance Examination is the basis for admissions to polytechnic programs in Guru Kashi University. The admittance to the courses is based on the test's results.
Certificate Course-
First-come, first-served admissions are often made following receipt of a fully submitted application.

Hostels: A comfortable stay at the college is provided by the five boys' and one girls' hostel.
Transportation: To facilitate staff and student commutes, transportation is available to both urban and rural areas up to 50 kilometers from the college campus.
Cafeteria: It has a cafeteria on the grounds as well as a Central Canteen, two minor canteens, and four dorm mess halls. They provide tea, light fare, lunch, and evening meals.
Banking: Located on campus is an Indian Bank branch. SBI, ICICI, and HDFC are also located close by.
Central Library: University has 100 journals and more than 54000 books. Multiple databases and e-books are also available.
Computer Center: Approximately 220 modern computers. utilized for PG courses, R&D projects, placement readiness, etc.
A smart campus is one that has Wi-Fi available and does many tasks online.
Workshops: The "Soul of Mechanical Engineering" has equipment for welding, machining, and casting, among other things.
Students of Guru Kashi University receive 100% aid in placement. It focuses on the personality development of its pupils through seminars and workshops, among other things.
