The Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) is a state-level test for admission to undergraduate and post-graduate programmes offered by Himachal Pradesh’s numerous colleges.The Himachal Pradesh Technical University will release the HPCET 2026-27 test dates soon (HPTU). Eligibility Criteria:
- Before beginning to fill out the online application form for the entrance test, all candidates must meet the AICTE’s eligibility requirements for sitting in HPCET 2026-27.
- Candidates must have received at least 45 percent aggregate marks in their 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised board/university for general category candidates and at least 40 percent aggregate marks for reserved category candidates.
- Candidates must have taken Physics and Mathematics as obligatory subjects in class 12th, as well as one of the following disciplines: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Technical Vocational.

Cut Off:
