JIS University PhD Admission Eligibility Criteria

Master's degree with a minimum CGPA of 6 on a 10-point scale with related field, or 60% for General and OBC students as well The minimum CGPA for SC/ST/PWD candidates may be reduced to 5.50 on a 10-point scale or 55% marks.

JIS University PhD Admission process

• A candidate who has passed the M.Phil, NET, GATE, SLET, or SET exams can apply for a Ph.D. without having to take an admissions test. However, he or she must attend the interview.
• The interview and admissions test will be required of all other applicants.

JIS University PhD Admission Entrance exams

• For admission to the Ph.D. program, the candidate must pass an entrance exam with a score of at least 50%. The entrance exam's syllabus will be split 50/50 between subject-specific and research methods.
• The candidates who make it through the entrance test will have to show up for an interview with people who are experts in their field.
• The entrance exam will consist of one three-hour paper whose syllabus will be established by the respective schools and departments. The inquiry paper might contain blend of goal and emotional sort questions.
