Master of Arts in Defense Studies is a postgraduate Defense Studies course. The MA in Defense Studies is designed to provide a pathway through the study of all aspects related to defence, through the building of knowledge through active learning and participatory learning, both individually and in collaboration between students. Defense studies expose individuals to an in-depth analysis of contemporary events and issues in this multifaceted, unpredictable world. The Master of Defense Studies degree examines the relationship between the arms profession and national security policies. It includes military command, leadership and conduct of major military operations and strategy including war-fighting, peace support operations and domestic operations for national security.
