M.A in Archaeology Admission, Eligibility, Duration, Fee and Syllabus

Master of Arts in Archeology is a postgraduate archeology course. Archeology is the study of human history and prehistory through site excavation and examination of artifacts. The Master of Arts in Archeology program provides appropriate education and training in the recovery, analysis and interpretation of archaeological material and context, while ensuring an adequate background in one or more traditional cognitive areas such as classics, art history, anthropology and history.

Archaeologists are required to spend many hours and days camping and doing fieldwork in laboratories and excavation sites, so a Master of Arts degree in archeology is in high demand. Thus an archaeologist must be patient enough to work on a project that may take months or even years to complete.
