MA Comparative Religion is a master’s level course with a duration of two years. Comparative religion is the name we use to describe the work of scholars who study and research one or more of the world’s religions in a non-sectarian, academic, and comparative manner. Comparative religion examines mankind’s spiritual pursuit and includes Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Sikhism, Islam, and other less familiar traditions. No other academic field looks at the origins of various religions, sacred writings, rituals, beliefs, and world views for its own sake, and not as an aspect of any other field of study.
