MUIT University PhD Admission Eligibility Criteria

An equivalent degree from a foreign educational institution that is accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency that is approved, or recognized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing or assuring the quality and standards of educational institutions. Master's degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master's degree by the corresponding Statutory Body with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent Grade ‘B’ on the UGC

MUIT University PhD Admission process

The offer of admission will be provisional and only valid for the candidate's chosen program and the same academic session. If the conditions aren't met by the deadline, the admission offer will be automatically canceled. Those who pass the entrance exam will need to sign up for the Ph. D. enroll in the program within one year of the announcement of the entrance exam result. Working applicants must submit an NOC at the program's registration and orientation, which takes place one month after their selection.

• The final selection for Ph.D. admission will be based on performance in the interview, subject to scoring minimum marks. Candidates who pass PET (Stage I) will be invited to an interview.
• Section 2 must be program- or subject-specific to the applicant's proposed Ph.D. program. namely, management, biotechnology, food technology, physics, law, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, psychology, and English, among other fields.)
