NCHMCT JEE (National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Test) is a national level hospitality entrance exam for admission to BSc programmes in hotel management and catering technology (Hospitality & Hotel Administration). The test is administered by NTA on behalf of the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology once a year (NCHMCT). NCHMCT, in collaboration with the Indira Gandhi National Open University, offers a three-year BSc (HHA) programme (IGNOU). All participating institutes recognise the NCHM JEE score for admission to the BSc (HHA) programmes provided by their respective universities.The Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) accepts NCHMCT JEE marks for admission. NCHMCT is linked with around 21 central IHMs, 25 state IHMs, 1 PSU IHM, and 27 private IHMs.

Eligibility Criteria
The NCHMCT JEE CURRENT_YEAR qualifying requirements are 10+2 with English as a required subject. The following are the exam’s detailed criteria
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old to be considered. The age restriction varies by category, as shown below:
- Candidates born on or after July 1, 1996, are eligible for the General, General (EWS), and OBC categories. The upper age restriction for the General, General (EWS), and OBC categories is 25 years as of July 1, CURRENT_YEAR, i.e., candidates born on or after July 1, 1996, are eligible.
- SC, ST, and physically challenged applicants must be 25 years old as of July 1, CURRENT_YEAR, i.e., they must have been born on or after July 1, 1994.
- Candidates do not require to achieve a certain level of proficiency in their qualifying exam. They must, however, meet the following requirements:
- Must have passed or be scheduled to appear in 10+2.
- English should be a required topic.

Test Comparison:
Both the NCHM JEE and the NCHMCT Jee are the same test. There is no distinction between the two. NTA administers the NCHM JEE, or National Council of Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination, for admission to the BSc Hospitality and Hotel Administration programme.
