On January 2, CURRENT_YEAR, the National Institute of Design (NID) held pen-and-paper NID DAT CURRENT_YEAR prelims tests at several testing centres around the country. Eligibility Criteria:

• The following are the NID qualifying criteria for BDes and MDes courses in CURRENT_YEAR.
• BDes – Candidates must have completed Class 12 from a recognised board such as CBSE, IB, ICSE or its equivalent in any stream (Science, Humanities, Commerce). Candidates who will be taking their 12th grade examinations in CURRENT_YEAR are also eligible to apply.
• MDes – Applicants must have earned a bachelor’s degree from a recognised college or university. As of June 30, CURRENT_YEAR, candidates should not be older than 30 years old.
