Admission Process: The Admission to PhD Geography is take place on the basis of Merit or Entrance test.

Preparation of Entrance Exams: The Entrance test consist two papers Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Paper 1 would be General Aptitude test of 100 marks and Paper 2 would be subject wise of 100 marks. General Aptitude test have 50 multiple choice questions covering Research & Teaching Aptitude, Logical Thinking, General Comprehension.

Paper 2 will subject to Concerned Department of 100 marks. 30 marks for Objective type exam and 70 marks for Descriptive type exam.

The student must have idea about what to study and the type of questions to be asked in examination.

The questions asked in entrance exam are of both types subjective and objective. The exams have duration of 2-3 hours mostly.

The candidate must practice sample papers and try to complete the exam in time.
