Admission to the Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) program shall be based on the candidate marks obtained in the entrance test conducted by the respective department of school of the particular or each university or college. Those candidates who have completed their GATE or NET/SET/ M.Phill Examination in the pertinent subjects of the apex bodies as CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR/DBT will be disowned from the Entrance Test. While giving the exemptions, the Departmental Committee of the university may be considered research work or earlier PhD(Doctor of Philosophy) or experience done by the candidate.
