Every year, the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) arranges and conducts PSEB examinations for classes 10th and 12th. It establishes the PSEB syllabus and exam format for board exams.

PSEB is a school education board serving the state of Punjab, with its headquarters in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. The Punjab Government established the board in 1969 through a legislative act. The board is led by a Chairman who serves a three-year term. The Chairman reports to the Punjab Government’s Secretary of School Education. Yog Raj Sharma is the current Chairman of the Board.

In the midst of the increasing COVID19 epidemic, the Punjab Board had to suspend PSEB examinations for Class 10th and 12th in 2024-25. The PSEB 10th and 12th results were announced on the State Board’s official website on May 17 and July 30, respectively. The board issued alternate assessment criteria, which were used to determine the outcomes. Every year PSEB conduct 10th or 12th board exam but previous year due to covid-19 exam was not held.

Eligibility Criteria (by class):

Candidates must have passed the class 9 test to sit for the Punjab Board of Secondary Education 10th examination, according to the PSEB qualifying requirements. They must also have completed class 10 in the current academic year at a Board-affiliated institution.

Students need to score a minimum of 33 per cent marks in 10th or 11th class as well as to pass PSEB 12th exams 2024-25.

Application Process:

pseb.ac.in is the official website of the PSEB. In the “Latest News” section, students will find a link to the Punjab board 2024-25 registration form. The students must then click on the link to apply online.

How to Apply?

• pseb.ac.in is the official PSEB website.
• Select “Registration Section” from the “Important Links” menu.
• The “Registration Section” option will open a new page.
• From the Registration Section’s main menu, select the “Class 12th Registration” option.

Syllabus:

PSEB is in charge of developing a curriculum for all Punjab Board-affiliated classes and schools. Every year, the board updated the syllabus so that students could have a better learning experience. Click the link provided to acquire the most up-to-date and thorough Punjab board curriculum.

Exam Pattern:

The PSEB board exams are being held twice this year. Examinations for Term 1 were held in December 2024-25, while exams for Term 2 will be held in February/March 2024-25.

The PSEB exam for Term 1 is 1.5/2 hours long. Students are given an additional 15 minutes to peruse the question paper. Every hour, pupils with special needs get an extra 20 minutes. According to the PSEB 10th Exam Pattern 2024-25, the class 10 examination is held between 10 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. The PSEB Class 12 Exam Pattern states that the exams will be held between 2 and 5:15 p.m., with 3 hours of writing time and 15 minutes of reading time. Differently-abled kids are given an extra 20 minutes.

• Punjab Board 10th date sheet 2024-25 pdf will open on the screen.
• Download the pdf and print the same.
• Save it for future reference.

Admit Card:

• School officials need to login using the username and password provided by the board.
• They save and download the admit card for the students of the school.
• Students have to visit their respective schools to collect the admit card.

Previous year Questions Paper:

PSEB Model papers are for reference only, and they give significant insight into the test format and types of questions asked in the previous year’s PSEB Class 12 question paper. Furthermore, because class 10 is regarded a pivotal time in a student’s career, practising the PSEB 10th class model exam paper is critical for a class 10 student. In the meantime, previous year question papers are used to evaluate a student’s ability to elaborate and expand on a topic. It is also beneficial since it teaches students to think critically and analytically while also illuminating the test structure and marking scheme.

Check Results:

PSEB Result 2024-25 for Term 1 examinations is likely to be released on the Punjab Board’s official website in February 2024-25. The results are published on the official website in an online format, and students may verify their PSEB result 2024-25 by entering their roll number. The result includes the student’s name, roll number, grades, and other information. It should be remembered that the PSEB 10th and 12th grade results released online are still tentative. The original mark sheet will have to be collected from the pupils’ schools.

Re-Checking:

Students who took the annual March Exam have already verified the PSEB 12th Result. The results are not satisfactory for the students. They are used to apply for Re-Evaluation/Rechecking Result topic marks over the internet.

Re-appear:

• Examine the most recent notifications and select the link for the supplee exam form.
• A new page will display, prompting you to enter your login and password.
• Fill in the essential information and press the submit button.
• The kids must next complete the digital form and click the submit button.

After 10^th Courses:

If you like technology and mathematics, science beyond 12th grade might be a good alternative for you. You have the option of studying physics, chemistry, or math (PCM). If you want to pursue a career in medicine, you can study physics, chemistry, math, and biology (PCM-B).

After 12^th Courses:
