The Bachelor of Arts Honors in English is an undergraduate English language course. English is a West Germanic language that originated in the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms of England and spread to become south-east Scotland under the influence of the Anglian medieval kingdom of Northumbria. In the Bachelor of Arts Honors course in English, the study covers the English language and literature on how it came into modern form along with uncovering many aspects of English society through drama, poetry, novels and drama etc.

Generally, a Bachelor of Arts in English course is a three academic year degree course and may be offered on a part-time basis by some institutions.
