The candidate with a Master's degree or its equivalent in the relevant field and a grade of 55% or higher will be considered eligible for registration in the relevant Program for the Doctor of Philosophy degree. Registration as a Ph.D. candidate for interdisciplinary specializations in which a candidate intends to pursue a Ph.D. After the recommendation of the doctoral committee and the approval of the vice chancellor, D from a different specialization may be permitted in exceptional circumstances.

Through an advertisement in the media or on its website, the university will solicit applications from candidates. In order to apply for a Ph.D, candidates must use a predetermined proforma. Regardless of the number of applications received, the Director, Doctoral Studies & Research, the Dean of the relevant faculty, the Head of the Department(s), and a domain expert will conduct an interview with eligible candidates following the completion of an entrance test. 

Bhagwant Global University PhD Admission Entrance exams

The combined scores of the components (i) academic record and (ii) entrance test will be used to compile the list of applicants who will be considered for admission. A candidate will not be considered for Ph.D. registration if they fail the written exam with a score of at least 40%.

However, candidates who have already passed a National Level Test, such as the UGC/CSIR(JRF) examination, NET, SLET, GATE, teacher fellowship holder, M.Phil., or its equivalent (GRE/GMAT), will not be required to take the exam. Admission will be granted subject to payment of the required fees in accordance with the committee's recommendation. Each selected candidate will also receive a guide from the Committee.
