• All applicants who intend to pursue a Ph.A centrally administered entrance exam for the D degree program at this university is required.However, candidates who have passed the M.Phil. or who have qualified for the UGC-NET (including JRF), UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF), SLET, or GATEPrograms that pass an entrance exam are exempt from the Ph.D Exam for Entry.
• The number of scholars admitted to a subject must be announced well in advance by the university, taking into account the availability of research supervisors and other academic and physical facilities.

• An entrance exam will be given with 50% qualifying marks.The entrance exam's syllabus will include 50% research methods and 50% subject-specific material.The University will notify the Centre(s) of the Entrance Test ahead of time.The viva-voce must be qualified by passing the written exam.
• The university will conduct an interview or viva-vocee in which the candidates will present their research interests or areas to a properly appointed Subject Research Committee.Final list of those chosen for the Ph.D. program.D program will be ready by the Board.
