Brainware University PhD Admission Eligibility Criteria

A Master's degree with at least 55% overall or an equivalent grade of "B" on the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational institution that is accredited by the UGC is required for admission to the Ph.D. program in any of the faculties.

Brainware University PhD Admission process

The University accepts a candidate's score on a university-run, research-based entrance exam for Ph.D. admission, which is followed by a Personal Interview (PI) round. Based on which seats are allocated, eligible candidates with a valid GATE, UGC, or CSIR NET score are permitted directly to participate in the PI round.

Brainware University PhD Admission Entrance exams

• The qualifying score on the RET entrance exam is 50%. The test's syllabus will be posted to the website well in advance.
• An interview with the candidate who passes the exam will be scheduled. He or she will be required to give a presentation during the interview to a properly constituted Committee about their research interest or area.
• A list of the successful candidates will be posted on the university's website following the interview. After paying the required fee, the selected candidates will be granted provisional admission to the University as Ph.D. students.

• Request an admissions form online.
• Complete the admissions form online.
• Participate in the Brainware Entrance Test (BET).
• By mail or WhatsApp, send soft copies of all documents to the contact person.
• Complete the "Anti-Ragging form" procedure and send the details of your payment (via NEFT, IMPS, or UPI) to the contact person. For this, you will be guided by the admissions staff.
• To confirm that the admissions process has been successfully completed, Brainware University will issue an Admission Letter.
