CPLT (Certificate Program in Laboratory Techniques) is a short-term entry-level certification program that can be followed after completing secondary school (class 10) or 10+2 (class 12). The course covers the fundamental knowledge and abilities needed to work in a science lab. It is a six-month course that can be extended for up to two years. This course is open to candidates who have finished and passed their 10+2 exams with science topics from a recognized board. Students who have completed their tenth-grade exams and have worked in a science laboratory in a school, college, or university for at least two years are also eligible to apply.

Course Eligibility:
Candidates must meet the qualifying criteria set forth by the university in order to apply for a certificate in the laboratory methods course. The following are the general eligibility requirements:
- Candidates must complete and pass their HSC or 10+2 examinations with science subjects and English from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% marks.
- Candidates who have finished their tenth grade education and have worked in a science laboratory for at least two years in any school, college, or university are also eligible to apply for the course.
- For candidates who fall into one of the reserved categories, there may be some leniency in terms of marks. However, this may differ from one college to the next.

Step 3: Attach all required paperwork.

Offline process:
Step 1: Download the application form from the college’s official website or pick it up at the college.
Step 2: Complete the form and attach any essential papers.
Step 3: Pay the application costs that the college requires.
Step 4: Send the form, together with payment information, to the college through mail or in person, as directed by the college.
Entrance Exams:
This course does not require an entrance exam. Admission is granted based on the candidates’ performance in the previous qualifying examination. The college will compile a list of candidates based on these results. The candidates who have been shortlisted will be contacted for further verification. Finally, the candidates who are found to be eligible will be admitted to the programme.
