Master's degree with at least 55% marks or a B+ in the relevant or related subject, as determined by the Departmental Research Board (SC/ST and physically disabled candidates will receive a 5% reduction in post-graduation marks).

The four components of the entrance test (total weight age 100 points) are as follows:
