Uttarakhand state assembly enacted an act on January 22, 2002, which served as the foundation for the university's establishment. The act was published in the gazette on April 11, 2002, under notification number 123/vidhayi & sansadiya karya/2002. The institution is privately funded by the well-known socio-spiritual Shri Vedmata Gayatri Trust, Shantikunj, and has the appropriate recognition from the institution Grants Commission. The Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya is committed to upholding the values that led to its creation. This elevated the university to the pinnacle of a moral and technical establishment and effectively met the academic community's desire for an institution capable of applying traditional wisdom to contemporary issues while also assisting in the nation's future development.

There are currently 119 faculty members at the university, and 66 of them hold Ph.D.s in various fields. Over 15,000 students have graduated from the university, either through traditional classroom instruction or distance learning. Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Uttarakhand Eligibility:

UG Course-

Applicants must have passed a 10+2 passed or equivalent with a minimum of 45% (40% for reserved categories) for all type of UG courses, but for B.Sc. in Ag, a minimum of 50% (45% for reserved items) is required in grade 12.

PG Course-

Applicants who already hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or suitable combination with a minimum score of 45% (40% for reserved categories) are eligible for this.

Doctorate Course-

An applicant holding a Master's degree (PG) in a relevant/relevant subject with at least 55% of marks is eligible to apply for both a Master of Philosophy and a Ph.D.

PG Diploma-

Students must graduate with a 50% of mark or any other related course from an accredited board or university. Admission to PG diploma courses is also based on an entrance test, which is also part of the admission requirements at some universities.

Diploma Course-

10th from an accredited board with a minimum of 45% of marks (40% for reserved categories) is required for eligibility for Polytechnic and D.Pharma degrees.

Certificate Course-

For Certificate courses students must have a graduate degree from an accredited university in any stream. Students for UG certificate programs must have completed their 12th grade with at least a 55% of average marks from a respected board.

UG Course-

University specifically administers the university-level Uttarakhand State Entrance Exam (UKSEE). All UG courses provide admission via this entrance exam. University accepts a variety of tests depending on the program type.

PG Course-

Diploma Course-

• Candidates can visit the university's website to submit an online application.
• Candidates can use credit cards, debit cards, or net banking to pay after completing the online application form. In addition to the INR 750 entrance exam fee, there will be an online processing fee of 2.6%.
• Applicants may also obtain the application form from the university's official website.
• Send the completed form to DSVV with photocopies of your mark sheets and a check made payable to Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya in Haridwar.
• Candidates can visit the university campus, pick up a prospectus for INR 200, fill it out, and bring it to the registrar's office along with photocopies of their relevant, attested marksheets and an INR 550 entrance fee.
