Entrepreneurs Sri Onkar Saran Kothiwal and renowned economist Dr. R.M. Dubey founded the Institute of Foreign Trade and Management (IFTM) University in 1996 as an institute. In 2011, the U.P. Government recognized it as a university. It is in Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad. It has been approved by the Indian Bar Council, the All India Council for Technical Education, and the Indian Pharmacy Council. The National Board of Accreditation recognizes it. Ph.D in its full form is a Doctor of Philosophy. Ph. D admission is determined by the results of entrance exams like the UGC NET and the CSIR UGC NET. A Ph. D is essentially a three-year course that should be completed in five to six years by students. The university offers numerous Ph. D courses in a variety of fields.

IFTM University PhD Admission Eligibility Criteria

Post Graduation degree in the related field from a recognized Indian or international university or institution with at least 55% overall marks or an equivalent grade. This eligibility criterion is relaxed by 5% for candidates in the SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled categories.

IFTM University PhD Admission process

The candidate's performance on the university's entrance exam determines their eligibility for the Ph.D. program at IFTM University. The Entrance Test will not be taken by candidates who have already passed the UGC-NET (including JRF), UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF), SLET, GATE (valid), GPAT (valid), Teacher Fellowship of UGC Holder, or M. Phil.

IFTM University PhD Admission Entrance exams

• The university's Ph.D. Entrance Test must be passed by the applicant. The written portion of the entrance exam will be 50 percent subject-specific and based on knowledge of research methodology.
• Interview conducted by the Vice-Chancellor-appointed committee on the relevant topic. The combined score of the interview and written test will be used as the basis for the test result. Within a week, the outcome will be available on the university website.

• The application form can be downloaded by visiting the university's official website and selecting the Admissions tab.
• In addition, candidates can request copies of the information brochure and application form by post or in person from the admissions cell.
• If the candidate collects and submits the application form in person, they can pay the application fee in cash. A demand draft or pay order for INR 5,000 made out to "IFTM University" and payable at Moradabad is required for postal applications.
• The Coordinator - Admissions, IFTM University, Delhi Road, Moradabad (UP) - 244 001, should receive the completed application form and any necessary documents.
