Admission to the PhD(Doctor of Philosophy) programme shall be based on the candidate marks obtained in the entrance test conducted by the respective department of school of the particular or each university or college. Those candidates who have complete their GATE or NET/SET/ M.Phil Examination in the pertinent subjects of the apex bodies as CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR/DBT will be disown from the Entrance Test. While giving the exemptions, the Departmental Committee of the university may be consider research work or earlier PhD(Doctor of Philosophy) or experience done by the candidate. If a candidate already holds a Doctor of degree in the relevant subjects from a UGC Approved Universities or Colleges, he or she may be exempted from entrance exam and pre PhD(Doctor of Philosophy) coursework. After clearing the both steps the candidate will be eligible to pay the course fee or registration fee. Only the predetermined number of candidate may be admitted to PhD(Doctor of Philosophy) programme of Pharmacy Practice.
