RIMT conveys forward a distinguished history since its beginning in 1998. From 2002 to CURRENT_YEAR, RIMT will add a new institution every year, beginning an unprecedented growth trend.The government-established RIMT University continues this legacy.in accordance with Punjab Act No.31 of 2015, in accordance with UGC section 2(f).

In 1998, the AICTE, BCI, PCI, and COA all approved the establishment of RIMT University, Punjab.The University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Punjab State Legislature have given their approval to the university.

Students at RIMT can choose from a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs.The admission to these courses offered is finished based on merit got in 10+2 and lone wolves' certificate program separately.The university sets a standard for providing high-quality education and vocational training and is one of the top five universities in North India.

RIMT University Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) Highlights

RIMT University offers three-year Ph.D. programs in 29 areas of study. The program is divided into six semesters, each of which lasts for six months. A Master's degree with at least 50% marks is required to apply for a Ph.D.

RIMT University PhD Admission Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must hold a Master's degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant or related field.
• Candidates in their final year can also apply. However, these candidates' admission will only be provisional.

RIMT University PhD Admission process

• RIMT University conducts a personal interview and evaluates applicants based on their performance on the entrance exam.
• The people who have a substantial NET/SLET score are excluded from the entry test.
• These candidates must immediately appear for the PI round.

RIMT University PhD Admission Entrance exams

A total of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) will be included in the entrance examination syllabus or pattern, which includes subject-specific topics, research methodology, and aptitude (such as logical reasoning, numerical ability, analytical reasoning, statistics, etc.). RIMT University PhD Admission Application process

• The candidate can complete the online registration/enquiry form and click SAVE to submit their application online.
• A unique Ticket ID will be given to the candidate, which they must keep for future reference.
• The candidate can now use the PayU gateway to pay the registration fee.
• Candidates must pay the required application fee to pick up the prospectus and application form in person at the university campus for offline applications.
• Candidates can also send a demand draft for the application fee via registered mail or courier to request the prospectus and application form.
