Ph.D. Fine Art course has time duration of 3 to 5 years. In this course we study about Fine Art topics such as Art History, Art Criticism, and Fine Arts Techniques etc. The student who wants to pursue this course should have Master’s Degree in Fine Art with minimum 55% marks from recognized university. The admission takes place on the basis of entrance exam conducted by the Sunrise University.

The candidates who have qualified UGC/CSIR (JRF)/NET/SLET/NET JRF get relaxation from entrance exam.

Ph.D. Fine Art Course Mode

Full Time Ph.D. Course

It is mode of course in which students attend class’s regularly in campus and attend all necessary activities of course. It is compulsory for all students to attend classes regularly in this mode.

Part Time Mode Course

In this mode of course the student does not need to attend classes regularly they can work with this course.

The students who want to pursue in this course in part time mode should have No Objection Certificate (NOC). In No Objection Certificate (NOC) should have mentioned that he/she permitted to pursue studies on a part time basis.

Ph.D. Fine Art Duration

The Full Time course has time duration of 3 to 5 years & Part Time course has time duration of 3.5 to 7 years.

• The student who wants to pursue this course has to complete and submit application form for admission in Sunrise University.
• In next step the student has to register for entrance exam.
• Then student have to appear for Entrance Exam.
• After qualifying entrance student has to go through for personal interview conducted by university.

Step 1 Supervisor Profiling

The availability of doctorate faculty who have vacant seat can be seen online. The detailed profile of faculty can be seen online by scholar.

Step 2 Booking of Slot for Supervisor

The research scholar can book slot with any of his/her preferred doctorate faculty by clicking on the Book a slot “button.

Step 3 Sending message to selected doctorate faculty

When research scholar selects his choice doctorate faculty this message received by his/her doctorate faculty.

Step 4 Preparation of list of allocated supervisors and submission of consent form

A list of all research scholars and their allocated supervisor is prepared on the basis of eligibility criteria and availability of seats. A hard copy of consent form is submitted by research scholar. When the research scholar get consent form from doctorate faculty. The final list of research scholar & their allocated supervisor is forwarded to Head of Faculty for recommendations.

Step 5 Allotments of Supervisors

After getting approval from authorities the list of allocated supervisor is provided to research scholars before the end of coursework.
