According to the Xavier University, Odisha Act of 2013, Xavier University was established on July 6, 2013.The Odisha Legislative Assembly approved the Xavier University, Odisha (Amendment) Act CURRENT_YEAR on May 11, CURRENT_YEAR, changing the name of the university to XIM University.

With the founding of XIMB (Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar), XIM University's flagship management institute, in October 1987, history was made. For the past 34 years, XIMB has been recognized as the best business school in the country.By focusing on research and innovation, it aspires to be the nation's leader in management education.We consistently rank among the top five in the nation for intellectual capital.On July 7, 2014, the New Campus of the XIM University was opened in an effort to take on difficult and necessary responsibilities.It currently houses twelve schools that offer undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs.

Xavier University Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) Highlights

Xavier University PhD Admission Eligibility Criteria

• A Master's degree is required for admission to any doctoral program offered by the university.
• The Master's degree must be earned in a related field of management or communication.
• Additionally, the student must have graduated from a reputable university or other institution with at least 55% marks.

Xavier University PhD Admission process

Xavier University PhD Admission Entrance exams

• Part A: Research Aptitude (Research aptitude consists of sections on numerical ability, language proficiency, and logical reasoning).
• Part B: Subject-Specific (subject-specific questions contain subject-specific technical questions).

• if the applicant does not register for and take any of the aforementioned entrance tests.He or she can participate in X-GMT  thid year, which will be held on January 29, by XIM University.
• If you do not choose to take the X-GMT, which will be held on January 29, you must register for the XAT/CAT/GMAT in order to apply to XIM University.By paying the test fee of $1,200, an applicant can apply to X-GMT using the same application as for academic programs.
