Shobhit University Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) Highlights

Full-time and part-time Ph.D programs are available at Shobhit University. The full-time Ph.D program lasts at least three years and up to six years. It is offered in a variety of areas, including agriculture, agri-informatics, biotechnology, biomedical engineering, computer engineering, business management, conflict management, chemistry, economics, education, civil engineering, and commerce etc.

Shobhit University PhD Admission Eligibility Criteria

• During their Master's degree, the student must have earned a minimum of 55% overall in the relevant subject.
• It is also possible to apply to the PhD program if a student has already taken the final exam for their Master's degree and is waiting for the result.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering with at least 75% of the grade in the relevant engineering or technology field from a university or its equivalent is required to apply to the program.

Shobhit University PhD Admission process

• Candidates who are interested in enrolling themselves in the PhD program are required to take the university's own written entrance exam.
• The state's JRF/NET (UGC/CSIR), GATE, GPAT, and SLET eligibility tests are exempt from the university entrance exam for candidates with valid scores.
• The entrance exam is also waived for candidates who have been awarded Teacher Fellowships directly by DST (INSPIRE), ICMR, or any other National Agency.
