A two-year Master's or M.Phil. degree is typically the minimum requirement for admission to a Ph.D. program. Candidates with a Master's degreedegree in the subject of choice, or have passed the UGC (JRF) Exams, NET, SET, SELT, etc.,will be permitted to attend the interview without participating in the entrnce test. Sri Aurobindo University offers various types of Ph.D courses in different disciplines.  Admission is purely based on the Entrance examination which is held by the university at its own basis. A total of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) will be included in the entrance test syllabus or pattern, which includes subject-specific topics, research methodology, and aptitude (such as logical reasoning, numerical ability, analytical reasoning, statistics, etc.).
