Ph.D.  Music Eligibility

The candidate who wants to pursue this course should have Master’s Degree in Music with minimum 55% marks from recognized university. Those who have recently appeared in final exams can apply provisionally for this programme. The candidate who wants to pursue this course has to go through entrance exam conducted by Sunrise University. The candidates who have qualified UGC/CSIR (JRF)/NET/SLET/NET JRF get relaxation from entrance exam.

Full Time Ph.D. Course

It is mode of course in which students attend class’s regularly in campus and attend all necessary activities of course. It is compulsory for all students to attend classes regularly in this mode.

Part Time Mode Course

In this mode of course the student does not need to attend classes regularly they can work with this course.

The students who want to pursue this course in part time mode should have No Objection Certificate (NOC). In No Objection Certificate (NOC) should have mentioned that he/she permitted to pursue studies on a part time basis.

When research scholar selects his choice doctorate faculty this message received by his/her doctorate faculty.

Step 4 Preparation of list of allocated supervisors and submission of consent form

A list of all research scholars and their allocated supervisor is prepared on the basis of eligibility criteria and availability of seats. A hard copy of consent form is submitted by research scholar. When the research scholar get consent form from doctorate faculty. The final list of research scholar & their allocated supervisor is forwarded to Head of Faculty for recommendations.

Step 5 Allotments of Supervisors

After getting approval from authorities the list of allocated supervisor is provided to research scholars before the end of coursework.
