This information has come to the fore during a webinar. While addressing the webinar, Hanit Gandhi, Dean Admissions said that PwBD (ie persons with 40 percent or more disability) who have physical problems to write in speed will only be allowed this facility. He said that the general candidates will be given 45 minutes for Section 1A and 1B of the examination. However, for PwBD candidate additional 15 minutes will be given for each section. Similarly, for Section II, an additional 15 minutes for each domain-specific subject will be given to these students. Also for Section III, which is a common test, 60 minutes will be given to a general candidate but 20 minutes extra will be given for PwBD candidates.
Let us know that the CUET exam will be conducted in four parts. Accordingly, Section IA (13 languages), Section IB (20 languages), Section II (27 domain specific subjects) and Section III (general examination). It is worth mentioning that first Delhi University will take admission in UG program through CUET. Till last year, Delhi University has been admitting students on the basis of marks obtained in the 12th board examination, due to which many a times students could not get admission in DU just because of low marks in the board examination. Now this difficulty of the students appearing for the entrance exam will be solved.
