The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) has declared the date of Aptitude Test for admission to the five-year Graduate Science-Post Graduate Science (BS-MS) course. According to the notification, the application process for admission in IISER will start from April 25 to May 30. Eligible youth desirous of admission to the Graduate Science-Post Graduate Science (BS-MS) course will be able to apply online by visiting the website of IISER. IISER Aptitude Test will be conducted on July 3, 2024-25.

Eligibility for Graduate Science-Post Graduate Science (BS-MS) Course

For the five-year Graduate Science-Post Graduate Science (BS-MS) course, candidates must have passed 12th in science stream from a recognized board. General and OBC category students should have passed 12th with at least 60% marks and SC and ST category students should have passed with at least 55% marks.

Aptitude Test Pattern

A total of 60 questions will be asked in the entrance exam from Physics, Maths, Chemistry and Biology. This year the marking scheme of IISER Aptitude Test has been changed. According to the new guideline issued in this regard, three marks will be given to the candidate for every correct answer and negative marking of 0.75 marks will be done for wrong answer. At the same time, zero marks will be given for not answering any question.
