UPSSSC Lekhpal Exam 2022 Pattern And Syllabus
The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released a bumper recruitment for 8085 Lekhpal posts. The online application for this has started, which will continue till January 28, 2022. At the same time, the date of examination will be announced by the commission later. Lekhpal Exam Pattern
This time a big change has been made in this exam. Now the interview has been removed from this recruitment, that means now the candidates will not have to go through the interview process. Talking about the written exam, it will be conducted in online mode. Its exam will be of 100 marks And there will be 100 questions divided in the form of 25 questions from all the four sections. 25 questions will be asked from General Hindi, Mathematics, General Knowledge and Village Society and Development. The total time duration of the exam will be of 2 hours i.e. 120 minutes. All questions will be multiple choice, there will be negative marking of 1/4 for every wrong answer.

Lekhpal Exam Syllabus
सामान्य हिंदी
अलंकार, रस, समास, पर्यायवाची, विलोम, संधियां, संधि विच्छेद, विलोमार्थी शब्द, बहुवचन, रचना एवं रचयिता, तत्सम एवं तद्भव, लोकोक्तियां एवं मुहावरे, समानार्थी और पर्यायवाची शब्द, अनेक शब्दों के लिए एक शब्द, क्रिया से भाववाचक संज्ञा बनाना, कहावतें व लोकोक्तियां के अर्थ, वाक्यांशों के लिए शब्द निर्माण, किसी वाक्य को अन्य लिंग में परिवर्तन, मुहावरा और उनका अर्थ, अशुद्ध वाक्यों के शुद्ध रूप, वर्तनी की सामान्य अशुद्धियां तथा शब्दों के शब्द रूप, वाक्य संशोधन- लिंग, वचन, कारक, वर्तनी, त्रुटि से संबंधित अनेकार्थी शब्द, इत्यादि।
Mathematics
In Mathematics, questions will be asked about Number System, Percentage, Profit Loss, Classification of Statistical Data, Frequency, Frequency Distribution, Tabulation, Cumulative Frequency. Questions will be asked about data representation, bar chart, pie chart, histogram, frequency polygon, central measure, arithmetic mean, median and mode. Whereas in Algebra, questions will be asked about least common factor and greatest common factor and relation therein, simultaneous equation, quadratic equation, factor, area, circumference and area of circle.
General Knowledge
In General Knowledge, questions will be asked about General Science, Current Events of Nation and International Importance, History of India, Indian National Movement, Indian Polity and Economy, World Geography and Population. Questions will be asked on General Awareness and Knowledge of Science including questions from General Science, topics related to daily experience and observation. Under the history of India, attention has to be paid to the comprehensive knowledge of economic, social, cultural and political aspects. Candidates will be asked questions about Indian Constitution on Indian National Movement.

Components of Rural Administration and Functions of Revenue, Components and Functions of Revenue Administration, Planning and District Planning Machinery for Rural Development, Factors of Indian Society, Problems of Weaker Sections and Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Rural Institutional System and Religious and Cooperation, Reforms in District Planning Machinery after 1992, People’s Participation and Role of NGO, Indian Rural Society and Nature and Characteristics, Rural Social Change and Sanskritisation, Rural Social Change and Westernization, Rural Social Change and Modernization, Sources of Rural Employment etc.
