A bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy is a four-year programme aimed to develop competent Occupational Therapists who can assist in the treatment of persons who are physically or cognitively challenged. Admission to the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy programmes is based on either a merit list or an entrance exam. Candidates must be from the science stream and have completed their 12th grade with a 50 percent score to be considered for admission to the programme.

• Completion of 10+2 from a recognised educational board.
• At the 10+2 level, the main subjects of study are physics, chemistry, biology, or mathematics.
