What the tenth Guru had predicted about three centuries earlier came to pass when Baba Iqbal Singh Ji Baru Sahib Wale established Akal University in Talwandi Sabo about a century later.The College has begun its 6th scholarly meeting this year.In addition to spreading the message of universal brotherhood and the philosophy of interfaith wisdom enshrined in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, the University's mission and vision are to provide a high-quality spiritual value-based education. This will result in the holistic development of complete human beings.

The Akal University has been mandated to uphold the three fundamental principles of higher education, in contrast to the majority of educational entities that have commercialized higher education by operating like business ventures:Research, Education, and TeachingAs a result, the university has begun with Ph.D. and undergraduate honors courses.D programs in mathematics, physics, chemistry, botany, zoology, psychology, economics, commerce, English, and Punjabi, among other fundamental sciences and languages.Additionally, the university offers BCA and B.Tech.CSE), an MBA, and a four-year integrated B.Sc., B.Ed., and B.A., B.Ed. program.

As of now, the college offers BA, B.Sc and B.Com at UG level.Similarly, MA, M.Sc., and M.Com. courses are available at the graduate level.There are four-year integrated B.Ed. programs available.Additionally, Akal University offers Ph.D program with seven areas of focus.

Akal University PhD Admission Eligibility Criteria

Master's degree in the proposed field from a recognized Indian or international university or institution with at least 55% overall or an equivalent grade.This eligibility criterion is relaxed by 5% for candidates in the SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled categories.

Candidates with a Master's degreedegree in the proposed field/subject, or have equipped for the UGC (JRF) Assessments/NET/SET/SELT, and so on.,will be permitted to attend the interview without participating in the RET.Additional advantages include impressive academic records and previous research experience.

Akal University PhD Admission Entrance exams

A total of 70 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) will be included in the Research Aptitude Test syllabus or pattern, which includes subject-specific topics, research methodology, and aptitude (such as logical reasoning, numerical ability, analytical reasoning, statistics, etc.).Candidates who qualify the entrance test, final selection is based on an interview, which is also led by the university.

• Select Online Application from the Admission tab.
• The candidate will be required to fill out the form, upload the required documents, and then click "Submit" on a new page.
• Candidate must select Admission forms General or Admission forms Ph.D. from the Downloads tab to download it. Fill out the form and attach the required documents.
• Send the form to the university or submit it.
• The prospectus cum application form can also be purchased from the university office for INR 200.
• In the case of a downloaded application, a Demand Draft for INR 150 payable to Akal University, Talwandi Sabo, along with any relevant documents, must be submitted at the following addresses:office for admissions.
