With its main campus covering around 30 acres of land at IDCO Plot No. 2, Gothapatna, Bhubaneswar, Birla Global University (BGU) is a self-financed private unitary university that was founded by the passage of the Birla Global University Odisha Act, 2015. According to the Act, the Board of Governors, which is led by Smt. Jayashree Mohta, Chairperson of the Birla Academy of Art & Culture, which is the primary supporter of Birla Global University, is responsible for managing the university. The Chancellor of the University is the Honorable Governor of Odisha.

Birla Global University Eligibility:

UG Course-

Applicants must have passed a 10+2 passed or equivalent with a minimum of 45% (40% for reserved categories) for all type of UG courses, but for B.Sc. in Ag, a minimum of 50% (45% for reserved items) is required in grade 12.

PG Course-

Applicants who already hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or suitable combination with a minimum score of 45% (40% for reserved categories) are eligible for this.

Doctorate Course-

An applicant holding a Master's degree (PG) in a relevant/relevant subject with at least 55% of marks is eligible to apply for both a Master of Philosophy and a Ph.D.

PG Diploma-

Students must graduate with a 50% of mark or any other related course from an accredited board or university. Admission to PG diploma courses is also based on an entrance test, which is also part of the admission requirements at some universities.

Diploma Course-

10th from an accredited board with a minimum of 45% of marks (40% for reserved categories) is required for eligibility for Polytechnic and D.Pharma degrees.

Certificate Course-

For Certificate courses students must have a graduate degree from an accredited university in any stream. Students for UG certificate programs must have completed their 12th grade with at least a 55% of average marks from a respected board.

Birla Global University Admission Process:

UG Course-

10+2 or any equivalent examination in the relevant stream or discipline from a recognized board is the basic eligibity criteria for admission. Selection will be based on the Personal Interview round directed by the University.

PG Course-

Candidates should hold a 3 year college education in related field from a perceived college or university. Admissions are granted on merit list, which is published by the University.

Doctorate Course-

The qualification for a PhD is a Master degree with at least 55% marks. The Birla Global University Ph.D admission is done through personal interview and marks of the Master degree.

PG Diploma-

Admission to PG diploma courses is based on an entrance test, which is also part of the admission requirements at Birla Global University.

Diploma Course-

Admission to diploma courses based on marks obtained in 10+2 from a reputable board.

Certificate Course-

Students who have completed their 12th grade with at least a 55% of average marks from a respected board are eligible to take admissions in certificate courses.

• A link to the registration page will be provided to the candidate. Fill your personal information, including your email address, phone number, and password
• Candidates who successfully register will receive a link for the application process on the contact information they provided; access the link, and the application form will appear.
• Complete the form completely and attach any necessary scanned copies, such as your colored photo and signature.
• Send the application in and pay the application fee online using a debit/credit card or net banking.

Answered Scholarship:

Students who have excelled academically are awarded BGU Scholarships. Scholarships are awarded to students who:

• Have grade point average (CGPA) of at least 60% in your 10th, 12th, and graduation
• Have minimum 60 percentile in the BGU-conducted CAT, XAT, GMAT, or MAT entrance exam.
