Private university Arunachal University of Studies (AUS) is located in Lohit, Arunachal Pradesh. It was founded in 2012 by the Arunachal Pradesh government in accordance with the "Arunachal University of Studies" Act 2012 (Act No. 9 of 2012). The University was founded with the goal of delivering high-quality instruction complemented by industrial internships and professional training in a range of subjects. It is the state of Arunachal Pradesh's first independently funded university. The university provides a variety of undergraduate, graduate, certificate, diploma, and research courses in many different fields.

The university offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate degrees in a number of faculties, including education, medicine, physical education, social work, journalism, and mass communication. Other faculties include arts and social sciences, business, law, engineering, and technology.

Arunachal University of Studies Eligibility:

UG Course-

Applicants must have passed a 10+2 passed or equivalent with a minimum of 45% (40% for reserved categories) for all type of UG courses, but for B.Sc. in Ag, a minimum of 50% (45% for reserved items) is required in grade 12.

PG Course-

Applicants who already hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or suitable combination with a minimum score of 45% (40% for reserved categories) are eligible for this.

Doctorate Course-

An applicant holding a Master's degree (PG) in a relevant/relevant subject with at least 55% of marks is eligible to apply for both a Master of Philosophy and a Ph.D.

PG Diploma-

Students must graduate with a 50% of mark or any other related course from an accredited board or university. Admission to PG diploma courses is also based on an entrance test, which is also part of the admission requirements at some universities.

Diploma Course-

10th from an accredited board with a minimum of 45% of marks (40% for reserved categories) is required for eligibility for Polytechnic and D.Pharma degrees.

Certificate Course-

For Certificate courses students must have a graduate degree from an accredited university in any stream. Students for UG certificate programs must have completed their 12th grade with at least a 55% of average marks from a respected board.

Arunachal University of Studies Admission Process:

UG Course-

A list of candidates chosen by the all-India JEE (Main) is used by the university administration to allocate seats for the first semester of all undergraduate programmes.

PG Course-

To get accepted, applicants must perform well on the university's entrance exam. Postgraduate courses normally run two years in length.

Doctorate Course-

UGC-NET and JRF qualified candidates will not be required to take the entrance test but must still show up for the personal interview. The syllabus for the entrance test includes both subject knowledge and research methodology in equal measure.

PG Diploma-

Admission to PG diploma courses is also based on an entrance test, which is also part of the admission requirements at some universities.

Diploma Course-

The Arunachal Pradesh government has decided not to hold the APJEE Arunachal Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination- Diploma (APJEE-Diploma) in 2021–2022; instead, candidates will be chosen based on their performance in the qualifying exam.

Certificate Course-

For Certificate courses students must have a graduate degree from an accredited university in any stream.
