MAHARANA PRATAP GOVERNMENT PG COLLEGE, CHITTORGARH (MPGC)

Maharana Pratap Government P.G. College Chittorgarh was established in the year 1962 by the Department of College Education Government of Rajasthan, for initial two years the college was housed in Government Higher Secondary School having an intake of sixty students in each year in the faculty of humanities. The founder Principal of the college was Sh. M.L. Garg apart from him four other faculty members were employed at that point of time. The inauguration ceremony of the newly-constructedtook place on 14 June 1963, the honourable Chief Minister of Rajasthan Shri Mohan Lal Sukhadia graced the occasion. A separate college library building was constructed later and was inaugurated on 30 January 1975 at the hands of Shri Haridev Joshi, honourable Chief Minister of Rajasthan.
