Private university Shiv Nadar University, also known as SNU Noida, was established by the Shiv Nadar Foundation. SNU is ranked 61st among universities and 94th overall in India, according to NIRF 2025-26. The university, which was established in 2011, is well-known for its B.Tech., M.Tech., MBA, and M.Sc. programs. The university currently offers more than 20 undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and diploma courses in the Management, Science, Arts, and Research streams. National-level entrance exams, such as JEE Main, GATE, CAT, MAT, XAT, and UGC NET, are the sole criteria for admission to SNU Noida courses for undergraduate, graduate, and PhD programs. Additionally, the University is made up of five distinct institutes: Academy of Continuing Education, School of Engineering, School of Natural Sciences, School of Management and Entrepreneurship, and School of Humanities and Social Sciences SNU has also signed memoranda of understanding (MOUs) with international universities like Deakin University and the University of California in order to provide opportunities across borders. On a regular basis, SNU Noida works with these universities on academic and research projects. There are 226 faculty members at Shiv Nadar University, and the student-to-faculty ratio is 1:1. There are more than 80 resources in the Designing division, 70 resources in the Humanities and Sociologies office, 60 in the Administration and Business office, and 16 in the Inherent Sciences office.

Post graduation degree in the related field from a recognized Indian university or institution with at least 55% overall marks or an equivalent grade. This eligibility criterion is relaxed by 5% for candidates in the SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled categories.
