B.Lib Course Eligibility Criteria

A Bachelor of Library Science (BLIBSc) is a one-year degree awarded by various universities and colleges. Students do the course after completing their graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Students must have secured at least 50% marks in graduation.

M.Lib Course Eligibility Criteria

A Master of Library Science (MLIBSc) is a one-year degree that deals with advanced library principles and information science and practices. To get admission in MLibSc, the candidate must be a graduate in Library Science (BLibSc). To be eligible the student must have secured a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate, which must be from a recognized university.

PhD in Library Eligibility Criteria

The duration of the course is 2-3 years. To be eligible to pursue PhD in LIS, candidates must have completed PG degree or M.Phil in the relevant subject from a recognized university. They should have a minimum aggregate of 55% in the respective Master's degree course. For SC/ ST candidates, relaxation in marks is available, they must have at least 50% aggregate marks. In addition, candidates having minimum five years of experience in the teaching profession or administration industry are also eligible to study this course. Candidates need to qualify the Common Entrance Test conducted by the University.

Sunrise University B.Lib Course Admission

The process of admission in Sunrise University for UG courses is based on the merit list declared by the university after considering the marks of the students in the qualifying examination.

SunRise University M.Lib Course Admission

Admission to PG courses in Sunrise University is conducted after their marks in graduation level education. Sunrise University announced the application form for admission to PG courses on its official website.

SunRise University PhD in Library Admission

The SunRise University will, on an annual basis, decide the maximum number of candidates for admission to the programme, which will be announced in advance in a notification and on the website. PHD Admission to the program will be done twice a year, preferably at the beginning of each semester. Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks for General and OBC category and 50% marks for SC/ST category for Master's degree in concerned/allied/relevant subjects will be required to appear in the written examination conducted by the University. Will have to be involved. The interview is to be conducted by the concerned department.
