3 MBBS subjects to now be taught in Hindi

Hindi is the third most spoken language in the world. Hindi has a special place along with the other twenty one languages ​​included in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution. If any state has made rapid strides in the direction of taking forward Hindi as a mother tongue, then it is Madhya Pradesh, which is called the heart of the country. It is being started in the country from Madhya Pradesh. A team of 97 doctors of the state has translated English books into Hindi by working day and night in four months. On Sunday, October 16, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will launch these books at the Red Parade Ground.

Named the whole project as Mandar

Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang told that the professors of medical colleges of MP and Hindi connoisseurs have prepared the translated version of MBBS first year books. The entire project has been named Mandar. The idea behind the name Mandar was that the way nectar was extracted with the help of Mandar mountain in the churning of the ocean. Similarly, English books have been translated into Hindi. The minister said that the doctors and experts involved in Mandar have prepared books after brainstorming. Minister Sarang said that I am happy that now India has also joined those countries of the world, which provide medical education in their mother tongue.

Task completed like this in four months

Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang said that on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had given this work to the Medical Education Department. We formed a team of computer operators with 97 doctors. The technical aspects and future challenges of the students have also been taken care of in this entire process. These books have been prepared by being translated in such a way that the meaning of the word in Hindi does not change in such a way that it is difficult to understand.

For example, 'spine' is understood by all, it has not been written as 'spring' in Hindi translation. Rather, the books have been prepared in such a translation, which can be easily read and understood by the students enrolled in MBBS after studying in Hindi from rural areas. Three books of MBBS first year Biochemistry, Physiology and Anatomy have been prepared in Devanagari script, whose words are not available in Hindi, they have been written in Devanagari.

Government medical colleges will start

Minister Vishwas Sarang said, "Earlier, we had made this idea that we would start it from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal. But now the books are ready in sufficient quantity. Now MBBS studies in Hindi are being started in all government medical colleges of the state. It is our endeavor that MBBS education should be started in Hindi in private medical colleges also.

50 thousand students of medical field will be included

Amit Shah will release translated books of medical studies in Hindi on Sunday 16 October at Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal. 50 thousand medical field students will join this program. Students from government, private medical, nursing, paramedical colleges of Bhopal will participate. Medical students from other cities will be virtual connected to this program.

Hindi University Bhopal started

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi Vishwavidyalaya Bhopal had announced to start engineering and medical education in Hindi before the new education policy came. While the university introduced engineering in three languages, it also took steps to introduce MBBS courses in Hindi. However, at that time it was not approved by the Medical Council of India. The initiative taken by the university on a small scale has paid off due to the initiative taken under the new education policy of the Madhya Pradesh government.

Due to the difficult vocabulary of English language in the books of engineering, medical science, rural students studying in Hindi medium face difficulty. Now with the introduction of engineering and MBBS courses, it will be easier for the poor and middle class students studying in Hindi medium. This step taken by the state government in the direction of promoting Hindi language is commendable.
